Bob Johnston ('65 M.Ed.), Dallas, entered Dallas County government after 38 years with the Dallas ISD administration. He is executive assistant to Dallas County Judge Margaret Keliher.

Betty Linn Noll McCarty, Centennial, Colo., is the acting executive director of the Denver Regional Council of Governments. She joined the DRCOG in 1979 as public affairs director and has also worked as director of transportation demand management and chief administrative officer. She is married to Jerry McCarty ('60).

Judy Rains Johnston ('71 M.Ed.), Dallas, has been elected chair of the Texas Committee of the Commission on Secondary and Middle Schools of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. She is director of districtwide activities in the Dallas ISD.
