Ed McVey, Upper Darby, Pa., and his wife, former North Texas student Emilie Mehan McVey, traveled to the former Soviet republic Moldova where they adopted their daughter, Lydia Olesea. Their 11-year-old daughter, Rachel, accompanied them on the trip, which ended a four-year process to adopt an international child.

('98 M.S.), Dallas, is the administrator of Lennwood Nursing and Rehabilitation and has been appointed to the board of directors of AIDS Arms Inc., serving on the Resource Development Committee. He has also been selected to serve as the 2004-05 co-chair for AIDS Arms LifeWalk, which is the largest fundraising event for AIDS in Texas.

Houston, has received the Founders Award as Regional Sales Manager of the Year from Jones Dairy Farm, a pork processing company based in Fort Atkinson, Wisc. This is the second consecutive year he has earned the award and also received a new Harley Davidson. In January he became director of export sales for Mexico. He has worked for Jones Dairy Farm since 1998.
