Gabriel Klein

Gabriel Klein, Denton :: He was enrolled as a sophomore and majoring in social science. He and his family moved to Denton in 1992, where he lived the remainder of his life. He was interested in natural science, languages, technology, political science and thought-provoking films. He is survived by his father Joseph Klein, Distinguished Teaching Professor and chair of the division of composition students at UNT College of Music.

Tahshal Kimani

Tahshal Fletcher Kimani, Denton :: She studied sociology as a postbaccalaureate student at UNT. Passionate about serving others in ministry, she graduated from World Harvest Bible College in 2002 with a degree in pastoral studies. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Woman’s University. She received a certificate from the International Business School of Finance and Economics at Yunnan University in China after participating in UNT’s joint cultural and educational exchange program. She had hoped to return to China and help the poor.

Eric Williams

Eric David Williams, Denton :: He was an engineering student in 2013-14 and held the rank of first class petty officer in the U.S. Navy, where he had served on the submarine U.S.S. Henry M. Jackson. He enjoyed playing baseball and numerous musical instruments.

Victor Carpenter

Victor Carpenter, Houston :: He was in the first graduating class of Clear Springs High School in League City in 2010 and enrolled in the College of Visual Arts and Design to study photography.

Joseph Nedbalek

Joseph Nedbalek, Pasadena :: He was a radio, television and film major and Honors College student while at UNT from 2010 to 2013. He was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and Golden Key.
