William ‘Phil’ Elliott (’53), Meadowlakes :: He retired as vice president for sales of Selmer Band Instruments. He also played trombone and bass professionally while teaching music in Texas and Florida public schools. At North Texas, he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the Sinfonia music fraternity, and he played in the Aces of Collegeland and the One O’Clock Lab Band. Survivors include his wife Lawrie (’53).
