William ‘Bill’ Wheeler (’53), Midland :: He was a member of the Trojans at North Texas and married his college sweetheart, Marilyn McNatt, in 1953. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including active duty in Korea and Japan, and ended his reserve service as a captain. He worked at family-owned car dealerships in Andrews and Stanton for 52 years.
