Tom Wallace ('55), Gatesville :: At North Texas, he was a member of the ROTC. He then served in the Air Force and worked for U.S. Senator Lyndon B. Johnson’s staff and the Senate Armed Services Committee. He later served as executive director of the Texas Sheep and Goat Raiser’s Association and established the screwworm eradication program. He also helped establish the Textile Research Center at Texas Tech University.
