Tom Tilley (‘54), San Antonio :: He served in the U.S. Air Force and flew more than 200 missions over Vietnam in a B-52. For his service, he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and other recognitions. After retiring from the Air Force in 1975, he worked in insurance and pursued his hobbies of golf, bridge and woodworking. At North Texas, he was president of Sigma Phi Epsilon and a member of the Blue Key Honor Society and North Texas ROTC. He and his wife, Ann Harrison Tilley (‘54), met at North Texas and were married for 63 years. They were members of the UNT Alumni Association.
