Nancy Sue Keil

Nancy Sue Keil (’63), Rockwall :: At North Texas, she was a member of Sigma Delta Chi, Alpha Lambda Delta and the Alpha Iota chapter of Pi Delta Phi. She worked as a reporter for the Beaumont Journal, then worked as an editor for The Daily Oklahoman and taught journalism classes at the University of Oklahoma. On March 29, 1971, she was designated as Honorary Mayor of Oklahoma City. Nancy later worked as editor for The Miami Herald, then moved back to Texas in 1980 to be closer to family and work as a copy editor for The Dallas Morning News before retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Oklahoma chapter of Sigma Delta Chi, and enjoyed reading, traveling and watching the Texas Rangers. She was a member of the UNT Alumni Association.
