Lisa L. Rollins (’96), Guthrie, Okla. :: She served as staff writer, entertainment editor and managing editor for the North Texas Daily while majoring in journalism and created her own magazine, Lone Star Beat. She was a music columnist and page editor for the Denton Record-Chronicle and also served as an entertainment writer for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She worked for many publications and won awards from the Texas Press Association and other organizations. An internship conducting press tours for country artists in Nashville led her to work in entertainment public relations. She earned master’s and doctoral degrees and taught journalism at Middle Tennessee State University and Ashford University. Survivors include her mother, Marianne Coffman Rollins (’67).
