Lina Briggs Kirkpatrick (’46), Denton :: She taught piano to students in the Denton community for more than 30 years. She was also a charter member of Pi Kappa Lambda at UNT, as well as Mu Phi Epsilon and its alumni chapter. She and her husband, Hugh Kirkpatrick (’48, ’49 MA, ’76 Ph.D), who died July 24, were both founding members of the Denton Bach Society and participated in many musical organizations in the area.
