Ken Smith (’54), Tyler, At North Texas, he worked as a radio disc jockey, was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and met his wife, Reba Fay Roland (’59). After graduating, he and Reba moved to Tyler, where Ken continued working as a disc jockey before working for Peoples National Bank. In 1963, he began his career as a pharmaceutical sales representative for SmithKline and French, climbing to the position of executive pharmaceutical consultant before retiring in 1997. He was active in his children’s and grandchildren’s extracurricular events. He loved hunting and fishing.
