Joe Mitchell (’56), Granbury :: He worked as an international DC-10 captain for American Airlines for 30 years. He flew for the U.S. Air Force for more than 10 years. He was an avid woodworker and a music lover who taught himself to play jazz organ. He played basketball for North Texas and was the son of former head football coach Odus Mitchell.
