James William ‘Cotton’ Moore, Tool :: He played tackle for the North Texas football team from 1961 to 1965, when he was drafted by the Detroit Lions as a linebacker. He was named to the Honorable Mention Dallas Times Herald 4A All-District Team, the All Greater Dallas Team, the All Missouri Valley Conference first team and All-Opponent first team. As a junior letterman, he also was named honorable mention on the Associated Press All-American Team.
