Inez N. Burkholder (’41), Dallas. She taught English at Paradise and Rockwall schools and then worked as a bookkeeper at Teledyne/Geotech in Garland until her retirement in 1979. She went on to earn her master’s degree in liberal arts from Southern Methodist University. She volunteered for Literacy Volunteers of America and the Dallas Arboretum. She was 99 years old. She is survived by her son, B. Vaughn Burkholder (’69, ’72 M.A., ’94 M.S.).
