George Lewis Jordan (’49), Highrolls, N.M. :: Originally from Maine, he came to Texas after serving in the military in World War II. He earned his degree in music and taught in Texas schools for 33 years, primarily for Permian High School for 18 years. He retired to New Mexico and was choral director for New Mexico State University at Alamogordo for 20 years.
