Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Dishman Couser (’55), Orange :: She taught for many years in Port Arthur and Orange. Her research on the local Atakapa Indian tribe was used in a published book, and one of her favorite pastimes was volunteering at the Heritage House Museum. She met her husband of 59 years, Robert H. Couser (’55), at North Texas and was a member of Chi Omega sorority.
