D’Anne Cowden Barrow (’80 M.M.E.), Russellville, Ark. :: She had a 35-year career in education including elementary music, elementary classroom and administration. She earned an Ed.D from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. At the time of her death, she was director of elementary curriculum for the Russellville, Arkansas, school district. Survivors include her husband, Gary (’69 B.M.E., ’82 Ph.D), and daughter Jill (’05 B.M.E.).
