Billy Earl Kirbie (’61), Azle :: He was a coach and educator for 34 years before retiring from the Birdville ISD. Throughout his life he coached college, high school and middle school football. At North Texas, he was a member of the football team and was selected to the 1962 All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team as an offensive tackle. He also was a member of the Geezles. He enjoyed traveling and camping in the mountains. He and his brother, Burl, died four months apart.
