Bill Somers Hall (’54), San Angelo :: He was a salesman for the Yellow Pages, insurance agencies and the San Angelo Standard-Times. He was known for telling stories, playing golf and drinking his “daily beer.” He enlisted in the U.S. Marines at age 16 and served during the Korean War. While at North Texas, he was a member of the Trojan fraternity. He met his wife Barbara Jean Hall (’54), on a blind date while at North Texas, and they married in 1954.
