Anna Lois Taylor Steele (’46), Marlin. She taught English in middle school and high school for 26 years and was a leader in her church, where she sang in the choir for 60 years. At North Texas, she was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha sorority. She met her husband, the late W.J. “Billy” Steele, at her North Texas graduation ceremony. Memorials in her name may be made to the UNT Foundation.
