Amada Vidaurri (’73 M.S.), Frisco. The native Texan earned a master’s in library science at North Texas. In 1963, she joined Sanford-Fritch ISD and taught German and Spanish while also serving as librarian for all of the district’s schools. She spent 36 years as head librarian at Tascosa High School in Amarillo and, following her retirement, was a reference librarian at West Texas A&M University. She enjoyed traveling and reading and was an accomplished painter, talented quilter and a skilled baker.
