M. Jean Keller, interim vice president for community engagement and professor of kinesiology, health promotion and recreation, was named a fellow of the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration for her dedication and leadership in the profession and active involvement in communities and state, regional and national organizations.
As a fellow, Keller will conduct research, publish scholarly papers and sponsor seminars. She also will work to advance the knowledge of recreation practitioners and educators and promote a broader understanding of why parks, recreation and conservation are important for the public good.
