Suanne Davis Roueche ('64, '67) Austin :: She was a Yucca Beauty and president of Delta Gamma from 1963 to 1964. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Texas, where she served as senior lecturer. She championed community colleges, co-authoring 19 books and 60 articles. She served as director of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development at UNT prior to her retirement in 2012. She was honored with a Yellow Rose of Texas Award, a designation for native Texas women providing meritorious service to the state. She was a member of the President’s Council.
