Sally Starr ('60), North Richland Hills :: She taught first grade at Dallas ISD for eight years before raising her family. She was an active member of the Parent-Teacher Association. At North Texas, she was a member of the Gamma Phi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She was a life member of the UNT Alumni Association, a member of the President’s Council and donor to the College of Education Dean’s Excellence Fund and the UNT Loyalty Fund. She and her husband Jim Starr (’60, ’62 M.P.A.) were supporters of Mean Green Athletics.
