Mary Jo Watkins Deavenport Woodward (’47), San Diego, Calif. :: She moved to California in 1951, but her family says she remained a Texas girl at heart. She became an accomplished artist in both watercolor and acrylics and was a supporter of the arts. At North Texas, she studied business and was a member of the Kaghlirs. Survivors include her sister, Joyce Chapman (’49).
