Luther C. Wallace Jr. (’58), Double Oak :: He served in the U.S. Army for two years and graduated from North Texas with a bachelor’s in accounting. He was a controller for Sears and Roebuck and went on to serve the federal government as an agent in the Department of Energy, Small Business Administration, Internal Revenue Service and finally the General Services Administration, where he retired. His daughter, Cynthia C. Wallace (’81), also was a graduate of UNT.
