Julia K. Gibson Jordan (’63 M.S.), Dallas :: She worked for 48 years as a teacher, guidance counselor and director for student services at Dallas ISD. As a longtime black history preservationist and historian, she volunteered with the Dallas County Community Action Committee and served on the board of the African-American Museum in Dallas. She was a member of the Dallas chapter of Jack & Jill of America Inc., The Links Inc., Sigma Theta sorority and the Priscilla Art Club.
