Bill Estes (’64, ’73 M.Ed.), Sherman :: he was in Sigma Phi Epsilon, lettered in basketball as a freshman and worked as a student fireman his sophomore through senior years. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1968 and after attending pilot school was stationed in Florida, Virginia, Oregon and Turkey. He coached basketball in Sherman, Kaufman, Pittsburg and Crowley and retired as head of the science department in 1996. He and his wife operated the Book Rack for 27 years.
