Located on W. Sycamore St., the center serves children and adults of all ages. It includes a hearing aid dispensary; a preschool language room for speech therapy; a clinic to serve military veterans suffering from tinnitus; a week-long summer camp for children with speech, language or hearing disorders; and numerous other therapy and diagnostic rooms, including areas for family members to observe clinical sessions.

The center provides clinical training for students in UNT's Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. More than 150 people receive weekly therapy and many more have their speech or hearing evaluated at the center, which averages 5,000 client visits per year.

The professional personnel include 20 speech-language pathologists and audiologists, all holding professional certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensure from the state of Texas. For information, visit the UNT Speech and Hearing Center.
