Justin Archer's ('12, '16 M.F.A.) sculptures are receiving national attention. He recently was honored with an Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Honorable Mention by the International Sculpture Center. His art – along with pieces from other UNT College of Visual Arts and Design alumni, including Eben Hall ('14) -- can be seen in the exhibition, The Surrounding Space, which will run this summer at Love Field Airport in Dallas.
"My hope is that these works will reach people where they are in their normal routines and speak to them on personal levels," Archer says. "As visitors encounter and explore these sculptures my desire is that it will drive them to think and create a dialogue about their own thirst for contentment."
