Wayne H. Stewart, Jr. (Ph.D.), Pendleton, South Carolina, was named the Robert K. and Angela M. Freeland Endowed Professor of Management at Clemson University. The professorship is based on excellence in research, teaching and service, as well as contributions of leadership throughout the university. He has taught at Clemson for 27 years after serving two years as a visiting professor in the Department of Management at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at UNT. He was previously a lecturer of economics at Sam Houston State University.
