Scot Maitland, Austin :: co-owner and director of communications for Live Oak Pharmacy in Austin, won a 2011 Statesman Texas Social Media Award for using tools such as Facebook and Twitter to reach out to patients, customers and other practitioners. He was one of 25 award recipients chosen by the Austin American-Statesman from a record 358 nominations.
