Richard J. Allie (M.Ed.), Fort Worth. The newest middle school in Crowley ISD has been named the Richard J. Allie Middle School, recognizing his years of service to the district. He was the principal at H.F. Stevens Middle School from 1984 to 2004. He also was a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and, during his time as principal, he was called to active duty during Operation Desert Storm and served in the Persian Gulf War, then returned back to his school duties. After he retired, he taught and trained supervising student teachers at Texas Christian University. His wife is Linda Allie (’72). He is the brother of Stephen Allie (’72 M.S.).
