Michael Ortiz, Uvalde :: is an assistant professor of mathematics at the Rio Grande College of Sul Ross State University in Uvalde, where he lives with his wife, Rebecca (’01), and their children, Victor and Cecilia. He earned his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin last May.
