Mechele Ayers Gould Hesbrook (’79 M.S.), Santa Fe, N.M. :: is the new dean of the School of Arts and Design at Santa Fe Community College. A professor of fashion design, she began teaching at the school in 1997 and created the interior design program there. She also taught at UNT for 11 years and says she has great memories of her time here. For her master’s thesis in visual design, she analyzed early 20th-century dresses from what is now the Texas Fashion Collection.
