Mallary Michelle Frierson, Venus, is a speech-language pathologist assistant at Burleson ISD who has co-created a speech and communication activity book, Color Days, which teaches about the traditions for the months, seasons and holidays while encouraging receptive and expressive language skills through articulation/language and problem solving. She has worked with clients from ages 2 to 21 in public schools and outpatient rehabs since 2004. She is studying for her second bachelor’s degree in the communication and technology program at UNT Dallas, where she has learned graphic design, social media and video editing skills.
