Lisa Thomas(D.M.A.), Anna :: wrote an article, “Composers and Indians: The Search for a National Style Preserved Native Tradition,” featured in the summer 2010 Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian magazine. She performed American classical native piano repertoire, related to her UNT dissertation lecture recital, at the museum and at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C., this summer. She also has performed for several music teacher associations and internationally in Bulgaria and Italy. She is working on two CDs for the Toccata Classics label in London, a solo album and a chamber music album of the work of Arthur Farwell.
