Lisa L. Rollins, Langston, Okla. :: is the new chair of the Department of Communication at Langston University, where she oversees the university’s communication program and teaches journalism. She established a partnership with The Guthrie News Leader in Guthrie, Okla., on behalf of LU’s journalism students. She won a Bronze Award in the Tennessee College Public Relations Association’s 2010 communications contest for her public relations campaign for “The Holocaust and World War II” conference at Middle Tennessee State University. She says she’s “a proud third-generation UNT grad.”
