Latoya Lynn Rowell, Plano, was promoted as the new community affairs coordinator for Comerica Bank. She is responsible for executing Comerica's volunteer strategy for financial education and external diversity. She also was selected as the 2019-2020 Communities Foundation of Texas Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy Fellow. CFT's Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy program seeks to educate, engage and broaden the philanthropic impact of the next generation of leaders in the North Texas region. Her favorite experience on campus was the UNT Ring Ceremony. “Receiving my ring made me feel like I was a part of the spirit and traditions of UNT,” she says.
