Kimberly Hoggatt Krumwiede (Ph.D.), Grapevine, was selected as dean for the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Hoggatt Krumwiede, who received her doctorate in learning technologies, began her career as a medical illustrator and was on faculty in a graduate program for biomedical communications for more than 16 years before transitioning to the field of interprofessional practice and education. Prior to her new position, Dr. Hoggatt Krumwiede was a professor in health care sciences, associate dean for academic affairs and director for interprofessional practice and education at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
