John Rutland (M.M., ’05 D.M.A.), Lone Jack, Mo. :: was named the 2011 Collegiate Educator of the Year by the Missouri division of the American String Teachers Association. He continues to conduct the symphony orchestra, teach violin and viola, and serve as string area coordinator at the University of Central Missouri and also is the concertmaster of the Lee’s Summit Symphony Orchestra.
