Joe O. Barrera (’76 M.M.), Los Angeles, composed the music score for the documentary South Texas Gentle Men of Steel - Los Padres, which won 26 awards at film festivals internationally from 2015 to 2018. The documentary also was nominated for two awards at the MAGMA Film Festival in Hawaii. Joe composes music for television productions and documentaries, and serves as an adjunct faculty member at two colleges.
