Jeremy Bakker, Nashville, is director of learning programs at Nashville Software School, where he will help develop the strategic direction for the nonprofit software bootcamp’s programs. Jeremy previously served in higher education for 10 years — as a lecturer at Yale Divinity School; adjunct faculty in New Testament at the General Theological Seminary in New York; and scholar in residence at the Upper Room in Nashville, Tennessee — and in data engineering and machine learning at Eventbrite for four years. At UNT, he was a music major. He earned his Master of Divinity from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Arts, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in religion/religious studies at Yale University.
