Janice Baird Whitlock (’72 M.M.Ed.), Savage, Minn. :: took up oil painting classes at Savage Art Studios after a lifetime as a musician, primarily playing keyboard. She has been taking the classes for three years and says that art “makes you think about things differently.” She enjoys painting places she’s been – one of her subjects was a French chateau that was her home in the 1950s.
