Jan Roche Scoggins, Dallas, is the new development director for the Lupus Foundation of America, primarily for its “Walk for Lupus Now” fundraising event. She has been involved in event fundraising for Dallas-Fort Worth nonprofits for more than 20 years, including the American Lung Association, United Cerebral Palsy, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Republican Party of Dallas County. She says past events range “from the good (walks, runs, galas and golf) to the bad (a Jigglin’ Jello Slide) and the ugly (UCP ‘Spamarama’ Cookoff).”
