James Webb (M.S.), Frisco, has published the book Redneck Resilience: A Country Boy's Journey to Prosperity, which chronicles how he overcame business and personal tragedies and became a successful businessman. Initially an X-ray technologist in Mississippi, he attended North Texas while working as radiology director of HCA Lewisville Hospital. He then worked in the business side of medical imaging for 10 years, eventually becoming president of an outpatient medical imaging company in Florida. He started the first of several companies in 1996 and became an Orangetheory Fitness franchise owner. He has sold his medical companies and gyms but still owns a few businesses.
