Freddy R. Gonzales, Richardson :: retired from the Dallas Police Department’s Reserve Battalion as a reserve lieutenant after 31 years of service. He retired first in 1992 from the U.S. Army Reserve as a captain. He had joined the Army Reserve after serving on active duty in the Marine Corps and was an active reservist while at North Texas, where he also was active in the ex-Marine association and involved with veterans issues.
