Chelsea Woodard (Ph.D.), Exeter, New Hampshire, is the author of At the Lepidopterist’s House (Southern Indiana Review Press), a poetry collection that won the 2022 Michael Waters Poetry Prize. The poems explore themes of grief, love and lightness within natural and mythic landscapes. Her earlier collections, Vellum (Able Muse Press, 2014) and Solitary Bee (Measure Press, 2016), were featured in top-ranking literary magazines. Dr. Woodard, who received her doctorate in philosophy at UNT and a master's in fine arts at Johns Hopkins University, now teaches in the English department at Phillips Exeter Academy.
