Bryan Cruze, Fort Worth, is a firefighter and emergency medical technician who graduated with his master's degree in emergency management from Arizona State University and will pursue his doctorate at Liberty University. His favorite campus memory at UNT occurred during American Lit class. “I had a classmate named Shannon who sat in front of me. I came into class that day with a song from Good Charlotte called ‘Girls and Boys’ in my head, which I was sort of singing when I walked in. About halfway through class, Shannon was quietly singing it in class, when the classroom got very quiet and everyone heard her singing off key and knowing some, but not all, of the words! She later blamed me for putting the song in her head in the first place.”
