Bob Maninger (Ed.D.), Huntsville :: an assistant professor at Sam Houston State University, marked off a “bucket list” item with the publishing of his murder mystery Flint (Aberdeen Bay). In the book, a series of mutilation killings blamed on the Cheyenne tribe prompts a history teacher to uncover the truth. As the Diamond Oil Co. goes on strike and tension builds between the community and the tribe, his determination to collect clues leads him down a dangerous path. Bob spent 20 years as a teacher and administrator in public and private schools before moving into academia.
